Kyle hackmann, PASTOr

After completing his Master of Divinity and gathering ministry experience in Chicago, Leipzig, and St. Louis, Kyle and Kim Hackmann moved to Toronto in 2010 to join Grace Toronto in their mission of seeing churches planted throughout Toronto. Kyle served as the Associate Pastor of Grace Toronto Church for 7 years, while living in the East End. As of January 1, 2017, he transitioned into the role of church planting pastor for Christ Church Toronto.

Kyle and Kim have been married for 18 years. They have four daughters and a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon named Maple.

saralyn tyler, director of children’s ministries

Saralyn Tyler, Director of Children’s Ministry

Saralyn Tyler is the Director of Children’s Ministry at Christ Church Toronto. She is passionate about sharing the Gospel with children in a fun and engaging way. Saralyn has served in several different ministry contexts - northern Quebec, inner city Toronto, and Ottawa. She has led Sunday school, mid-week clubs and summer camps. Saralyn grew up in Toronto before moving to Ottawa to complete her undergrad at Carleton University.In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and meeting new people.

Lyndon JOst, associate Pastor

Lyndon is a pastor’s kid who grew up in Ottawa. After having served as a pastor at Grace Toronto Church for seven years, he joined Christ Church Toronto as our Assistant Pastor. Prior to his pastoral calls, Lyndon had worked with children and youth for close to a decade, with several churches and non-profit organizations, both in urban and rural settings.

Lyndon completed his MDiv and PhD degrees at Wycliffe College (University of Toronto). He and his wife, Lami, together with their four children - Naomi, Knox Micah, and Jesse - live on the east end of Toronto.

jocelyn au-yeung, youth intern

Jocelyn Au-Yeung was born and raised in Toronto. She completed her studies in media production at Toronto Metropolitan University where she grew an interest in the intersections of faith and art. She has served with Power to Change Ministries as a student leader, and worked at several non-profit organizations. After working as a camp counselor and director over several summers, Jocelyn also developed a passion for working with youth. You will find her watching old movies on most days.

Suzie Rofaiel, Church Administrator

Suzie grew up as a missionary kid in Colombia, but now makes her home in the beautiful city of Toronto with her husband Dave and three kiddos. She has worked and volunteered in a variety of settings, including as a pediatric nurse, a church Sunday school teacher and kids' clubs leader, a camp counselor, and a camp office administrator. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the Lord as Christ Church Toronto's administrator!

As of Sunday, December 5th, 2021 Christ Church Toronto now has internal elders serving as overseers of our church.

After being nominated, trained, examined and elected, Christ Church Toronto is now led by Sam D., Ewan G., Alan M., Rick S., Matt W., and Wilson W.

On June 2, 2024, our first team of deacons was commissioned by CCT to be tangible expressions of Christ’s love, care, compassion and mercy for his people - especially in seasons of financial need and physical distress.

The women Shepherding team

On June 9, 2024, our first Women’s Shepherding Team was commissioned by CCT. This team exists to serve our church and our elders by representing women well to the church and representing the church well to women.
