Christ Communities (Small Groups)

Our small group ministries (Christ Communities) will begin in November. The vision for our Christ Communities is to provide an environment in which we can be Christ to one another and see Christ in one another. Because of the unique stages of life many of us find ourselves in, the groups are tailored to specific stages of life. There are groups for new moms, those exploring Christianity, families, and everything in between.

Parenting In Our Times

PARENTING IS HARD

What you do as a parent of young children shapes your children for life and eternity - and is the foundation of a thriving society. But parenting young children is difficult in the best of times, and these are no ordinary times. Politics, law, culture, and technology make our time uniquely challenging.

Join us to explore the dynamics of early childhood parenting, the story of love presented in the Bible, and the daily practices that lead to flourishing for families and communities.

Friday evening families will need to find a childcare, but a children's program will take place on Saturday.

Please register here.

SPEAKER

Graham Scharf is a father, the husband of a developmental pediatrician, and the author of The Apprenticeship of Being Human: Why Early Childhood Parenting Matters to Everyone. He has worked in team development, taught early elementary grades as a NYC Teaching Fellow, co-founder of 2 Gen Cville, an initiative in Charlottesville, Virginia to establish a residential program for low-income single mothers and their young children.
